You are buying 1 x Ella Emergency Contraceptive (Morning after pill)
Ella is a type of emergency contraceptive.
If you believe you have had unprotected sex, for example, if you were using a condom and it broke, or you have reason to believe your hormonal contraception was not effective, you should take a form of emergency contraceptive as soon as possible to prevent getting pregnant.
Emergency contraceptive is sometimes known as the morning after pill, or "Plan B”.
You should always take eElla as soon as you can after having had unprotected sex, ideally within 12 hours, but it can be taken up to 5 days, or 120 hours, afterwards.
It will be more effective the sooner you take it, and will not work if you already know you are pregnant.
Ella is not a type of early abortion pill, nor should it be used as your regular form of contraception.
